After
a few months of collecting parts, I built my first Live Steam Locomotive!
Based upon the instructions for the BAGRS Project Locomotive.
I was still missing the recommend Axle Guards, back ordered, so I used a
set from a Hartford kit. They worked just fine but they did throw off
the measurements. It forced me to tighten up the frame spacing by an 1/8
inch and the wheels were closer to the planking so the chain length changed.
Lots of work left to do but it ran great and I'm very pleased with it.
