The Bachmann, R/C Battery setup, started the day checking out the track while I prepared for company.  It was a great day here in Troy, Michigan with temperatures in the low to mid 80's and not a cloud in the sky.

G-Day-Colorado.jpg (141803 bytes)Fred was the first to arrive, around 11:30, starting the event by running his modified Ruby and Colorado Live Steam Locomotives.

Tom arrived soon after with two of his locomotives and the event was well under way.

All together we had 7 live steamers stop by with 10 locomotives.  Most of the day found two locomotives running at the same time.  On one occasion, three locomotives made it even more interesting as we tried to keep track of locos as they disappeared behind hills and in tunnels.  There were the occasional mishaps but everyone seemed to survive.

The Engineering Deck was put to good use as these top engineers pondered the power of Fred's Colorado haling a full load.
