DC&H - Oct. 2004

The end of an empire that started in February 2000!!

With the purchase of a new home it was time to take down the track before the first snows of 2004 start to fly. So one last steamup was in order before the demolition began.

The track was a little rough but a few minor tweaks and we were off and running.
Stories of steamups gone buy and other fond memories were recounted as the demise of the layout loomed every closer.	The Yard Master was on hand to keep everyone in line and as usual, there were no issues!	Unfortunately our Yard Master has been effected by age and a common form of bone cancer for large breed dogs and will not be able to continue his duties in 2005. He will be greatly missed!

We couldn't put it off any longer. Time to move on!
