First Run - 2001

The weather is finely turning and with the last few days reaching 50 I just had to get out and run a little. The track had a little roll in it here and there but it wasn't bad. Maybe an hour of track maintenance when it gets warmer and I will be all set.

It was a little to cold to run Ruby. It just doesn't produce enough heat when it's this cold to maintain steam pressure. So I run my new Hartland 0-4-0 switcher and then ran the Lionel 4-4-2 for a bit. The sun set pretty fast and it got cold quick so it only lasted about an hour. But it was nice.

I picked up a new digital camera this month so my pictures should be better. It also takes small videos so you should see a few of those as well.
